The Bible teaches that salvation is the free gift of God, not of works of man, and that
"whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:15-16 KJV) The Bible says,
"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23 KJV). If I offered to give you a gift of an all-expenses paid two-week vacation on another island, would you insult me by offering to pay me five dollars for it? Would you insult God by trying to buy your way into Heaven with your good works or religion when He has already paid the price?
Jesus Christ paid "the wages" of our sins when He died on the cross. Romans 5:8 says,
"God commendeth (demonstrated) His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." God wants us to come to Him "by faith" to receive His "free gift of eternal life" through Christ's payment for our sin on the cross. All that we need to do is
"confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9 KJV). Won't you take the time right now to bow your head and your heart to God and accept His offer of salvation through Jesus Christ as your Saviour? His promise is that
"Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13 KJV). Why not call upon Him right now? You can pray this simple prayer from your heart:
Dear God, I am lost without you. I know you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for me and provide me a way to Heaven. I want to ask Him to come into my heart and life and be my Saviour. I want Him to guide me through this life and take me into the life to come to spend all eternity with you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired, infallible Word of God and that it is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. For reasons of unity within the church and textual reliability, we choose to use the King James Version of the Bible. II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21
We believe God is a Person, eternally existing, as a Trinity in unity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three persons and yet one God. Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 26:19; I Corinthians 8:6
Jesus Christ, eternally existing, is the only begotten Son of God, who became a sinless man in order to redeem us. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died and rose again and sits today at the right hand of God making intercession for us. John 1:1-15; Romans 8:31-34; Philippians 2:5-8; Colossians 1:11
The local church is a group of believers baptized by immersion, united together for edification, exhortation and evangelism as commanded by Christ in the Scriptures. The purpose of the church is to glorify God, prepare the saints for the work of the ministry and to preach the Gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 1:6-14, 1:21-22, 4:11-16; I Timothy 3:15
Jesus Christ Himself will soon come again in the air to catch up His Church and to judge and reward their service. The unbelievers that are left behind will go through a period called the Great Tribulation, after which Christ will return to the earth to set up His kingdom of one thousand years of righteous rule. At the end of the Millennium, the unbelievers of all the ages will stand before the Great White Throne judgment and then be cast into the Lake of Fire, separated from God for eternity, while the believers will enter into an eternity of joy in Heaven with the Lord. Matthew 29:29-42; I Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelation 19:11-20:13
