Memorizing the Word of God gives the Holy Spirit something to work with. The Holy Spirit is also our guide. The Spirit of God guides us through the Word and peace. When the Spirit of God is present its always about Jesus. There are times when the Holy Spirit will encourage you to witness to a person specifically. Part of being with the Spirit is having a daily walk with the Lord. The Holy Spirit helps us to pray.

To be filled means to be controlled by the Spirit. You don't get more of the Holy Spirit. He gets more of you. The idea of filling is commanded and is a repeating experience. We have the Spirit of God, but is He controlling you? We can filled by the Spirit at one moment and not be filled the next moment. Once we receive control of ourselves we lose the filling of the Spirit. We need to let God control and dictate our lives. We need to ask and pray for God's filling of the Spirit. The emphasis of being filled is Christ not the Holy Spirit.

A seal signifies ownership, security, safety and authority. God has given us a down-payment of salvation. The Holy Spirit is the earnest of our down payment that He is going to return to complete the redemption of getting christians to heaven. When you become saved, the Holy Spirit comes into your life. The Holy Spirit is a gift from God and a gift has no requirement(Ephesians 2:8,9). Absence of the Holy Spirit means you're unsaved. We're born sinners and the natural man can't understand Christ. If you've lost the Holy Spirit, you've lost your salvation. You need to obey and trust God in order to be saved. To be anointed is to have the Holy Spirit indwelling in you. The Emphasis of the Holy Spirit is to teach. We need to take the responsibility to learn. You don't receive the Holy Spirit when you get baptized. You receive the Holy Spirit when you get saved. Baptism is mentioned 11 times in the bible. Baptism of the Spirit is universal among all christians and is not a sign of maturity(Galatians 3:27). Baptism of the Spirit is automatic and happens only once(Ephesian 4:5). When we're saved we become part of Christ as He is a part of us.

The Lord is a Person, a self-existing entity; mighty and powerful. Not only does God have intellect and will, He has emotions; Ephesians 4:30. He can be grieved and angered. He is Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent; He knows all things, He is in all places, and He has unlimited power. There are many Representations or Symbols of the Lord. Clothing (Eph. 6:11), Dove (3:16), Fire (Acts 2:3), Seal II Cor. 1:22), Servant (Gen. 24). The Lord is many things and we can depend on Him to bless us in many aspects of our lives.
