<title>Building A Better Marriage &#45; Part 16</title>

<itunes:author>Pastor Wayne Surface</itunes:author>

<itunes:subtitle>This weeks service expands on communication and handling disagreements.</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:summary>Many people in a marriage do not know how to argue they only know how to fight. When you argue you attack the problem; when you fight you attack each other.
A Husband and Wife need two basic things: She needs Security, and He needs Respect.
Do not tear somebody down for a feature or a personality trait that they cannot change.</itunes:summary>

<title>Holidays Vs. Holy Days</title>

<itunes:author>Pastor Wayne Surface</itunes:author>

<itunes:subtitle>Holy days are days set aside for God, while holidays are set aside for remembrance.</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:summary>The sabbath transitioned from the last day to the first day of the week 1st Cor 16:2
The only Holy day mandated in the New Testament is the Lords supper where Jesus said you will do this as oft as you will.
As Christians we should make holidays a day unto the Lord and not indulge in excess, and we should strive to make them days in remembrance of the Lord.
Weather or not you celebrate a certain Holiday is a decision You must make as only you can decide if your choices make you right with God. Don&#39;t let the world influence your decision!
Any holiday you choose to celebrate you should try to make it a day unto the Lord. How are you going to worship God and glorify God with this day? Rom 14:5, 22&#45;23</itunes:summary>

<title>Do&#8217;s and Don&#8217;ts of a sucessful Marriage</title>

<itunes:author>Guest Speaker</itunes:author>

<itunes:subtitle>Guest speakers give testomony for key components of a successfu marriage.</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:summary>Dating is not described in the bible in the way it is understood today. Courting and dating are very different and because people date vice court they learn methods of interaction contrary to what is good for a strong marriage.
For a successful marriage you must Love one another, communicate with one another, forgive one another, and spend time together. Gen 2:24, EPH 5:25, 1st PTR 1:22, PRO 23:4
There are three P&#39;s to marriage. It is a portrayal of Gods Love, you need Patients, and it is a Partnership.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:subtitle>Why Do We Swear?</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:summary>Why do we swear? There are several reasons as to why one will blurt out a derogatory or curse word. It may be a way of letting off steam, a lack of vocabulary, or just to impress people. Some will say &quot;Gosh!&quot; or &quot;Jeez.&quot; These words are used to cover up the true intent of the heart, which is to say, &quot;God!&quot; or &quot;Jesus Christ&quot;, using the Lord&#39;s name in vein. When you swear, it is not a mouth problem but a heart problem. There are ways to control and stop swearing. Replace it with creative speech and prayers, Psalms 19:14.</itunes:summary>
